Have you ever found yourself wishing for a seamless way to convert text into diagrams?
Well, look no further because I found an exciting feature that does just that, and I'm here to share it with you!
Step 1: Visit Excalidraw
First things first, head over to Excalidraw. The best part? No sign-up or credit card required!
Step 2: Access the Text to Diagram Feature
Once you're on the Excalidraw website, click on the "More Tools" icon. From the dropdown menu, select the "Text to Diagram" option. Voila! You're ready to start transforming your text into visual representations.
Step 3: Enter Your Prompt
Now, it's time to input your text prompt. Whether it's a project outline, brainstorming ideas, or anything in between, simply type it into the provided field.
Step 4: Insert into Excalidraw
With your prompt entered, hit the button to insert it into Excalidraw. Watch as your text magically transforms into a clear and concise diagram.
Behold your final diagram! At this stage, you can fine-tune it to your liking, adding additional elements or annotations as needed.
As of now, Excalidraw allows for up to eight requests per day. While this may seem limited, rest assured that the platform is continually evolving, and this limit may increase in the future.
One of the standout features of Excalidraw is its ability to incorporate icons from popular libraries such as AWS, Azure, and other cloud providers. This allows for enhanced visualization and customization options, enabling you to replace standard shapes with more contextually relevant icons.
It's worth noting that, currently, the ability to select icons from these libraries cannot be directly integrated into your text prompt. However, given Excalidraw's commitment to innovation, it's likely that this functionality will be added in the near future.
